Bahar Energy Operating Company

Bahar Energy Operating Company (BEOC) is an energy operating company responsible for the development and operation of offshore hydrocarbon fields in Azerbaijan. The company operates the Bahar field, which has been in production since 1968, and the Gum Deniz field, which has been producing hydrocarbons since 1955. Today, BEOC focuses on the efficient and responsible extraction of oil and natural gas from these strategically important offshore assets located in the southern part of Baku.

Since 2025, following the full acquisition of company shares by SOCAR, BEOC has become part of the SOCAR group of companies. As a member of the SOCAR family, the company operates in alignment with SOCAR’s corporate values, governance standards, and operational principles. BEOC’s main administrative base is located on Gum Island, from where the company coordinates its offshore production activities. Through the application of modern technologies, strong operational discipline, and experienced personnel, BEOC works to maximize the potential of the Bahar and Gum Deniz fields while ensuring safe and reliable production.
